Ryan and his wife fell in love with the Cotswolds many years ago and moved here to make it their home. Ryan studied social work at University and has long been committed to working with disadvantaged groups. He has extensive experience as a volunteer with at risk youths and homeless populations.
Throughout his professional career, Ryan has been a champion for the Emergency Services, dedicated to meeting their needs through innovation in personal protective equipment. He has worked extensively with UK Fire Brigades and Armed Forces and pioneered new technologies to enhance wearer safety. Fighting for greater inclusiveness, he has been at the forefront of developing 'female fitted' PPE and progressing sustainability initiatives in the National Police, NHS, Ministry of Defence and Fire Rescue Services. He has worked with governments in more than 20 countries to provide safer working conditions for employees.
Ryan is a vocal champion of British-made goods and investment in UK manufacturing, and his own footwear business has created many local jobs and preserved skills. He is passionate in his support for small businesses and the need to support British businesses in the home and overseas markets. Driven by his passion for community involvement, he is focused on preserving the natural historic beauty of the South Cotswolds and promoting the success and prosperity of its historic towns and rural heritage.
