Howard Greenman was first elected to North Wiltshire District Council as a District Councillor in 2003 where he served on the NWDC Executive in it’s latter years prior to Wiltshire Council becoming a Unitary Authority, leading on the Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessment and Housing.
Howard was subsequently elected to the Kington division just north of Chippenham in 2009 and has successfully fought every election since. He also chairs the Strategic Planning Committee for Wiltshire Council.
Howard has a proven record of public service and wearing his other ‘hat’ having owned and run nineteen post offices locally over the years, also holds appointment as Non-Executive Director for the National Federation of Subpostmasters for the South West region. He is heavily involved in the Horizon Scandal within the Post Office, but looks forward even more to the 2025 local elections where he hopes to continue his work within the villages in the Kington division surrounding Junction 17, M4.
