The Cotswold Conservative Association has opened an office at the new serviced office complex at Watermoor Point in Cirencester from which to look after the needs of the Association’s Branches, Members and Councillors. Previously having been based at the Gloucester Business Park, it was felt that with the current Boundary Commission changes to the Constituency and Cirencester being on the join of the two proposed new constituencies it was more appropriate to base an operation there.
Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown will also have an adjoining office to cement the close working relationship between the Association and MP. He says ‘This is an exciting moment for me as a member of parliament, moving the constituency office to Cirencester makes absolute sense. Not only does this strengthen the Conservative presence in Cirencester but also provides a convenient venue for surgeries and a range of meetings with constituents, businesses, charities and other organisations
Leader of the Conservative Councillors, Tony Berry says ‘Cirencester is the capital of the Cotswolds and it’s great that we now have a permanent presence here confirming our strong commitment to the Cotswolds and bringing our operations centre close to our voters.’
